Draft Text of Proposed Executive Order

    Executive Order No. ___
    Further Amendment to Executive Order 11063, Equal Opportunity in Housing

    By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and laws of the United States of America, and in order to provide for a uniform policy for the Federal Government to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, it is hereby ordered that Executive Order 11063, as amended, is further amended as follows:

    Sections 101 and 502(a) of Executive Order No. 11063 are revised to apply to discrimination because of “race, color, religion (creed), sex, disability, familial status, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity.”
